Many people argue that hosting international sport events bring more disadvantages than advantages, while other individuals want their nation to host an international sporting events. I believe that hosting sports shows is beneficial for economy,introducing your culture and image of the country.
On the one hand, sports are most important for many individuals and they wants to host international sports events. these types of events are better for ecnomic state of the country, such sports competitions raise the profile of the nation worldwide, which not only brings, honor to the hosting country also uplift the reputation of the nation A very big advantage of these events is to introduce your culture with whole world. For instance, last year Qatar hosted a FIFA world cup, because of this event many football fans visited Qatar and learn about their culture, whoever, a large group of visiters visit Qatar which raise their economy.
On the other hand, many people argue that hosting big sports events cause more problems like security issues. During these events, from all over the world people visit the country which may cause terrorist attacks, as these anti-social groups always target the crowded places. For example, in 2009, England cricket team visited Pakistan for cricket world cup, during the match terrorist attacked on British players which caused many injuries including their players and audience.
In conclusion, no doubt few people are against hosting big sports events, however, in my opinion hosting these types of events has more pros than cons. It helps to introduce countrie’s culture to the whole world.
