In the era of modern technology, electronic devices like smartphones play a key role in everyone’s life. Most people believe mobile phones will have significant risks in our lives. From my perspective, there are several factors that I would not agree that smartphones may be harmful for human’s life.
First of all, in modern technology electrical devices, especially smartphones, are widely used to communicate. As smartphones are commonly used, everyone tends to use them effectively for worldwide communication to contact with families, friends, and lovers. For example, back when I was young, people in Cambodia connected to one another by only phone calls which was not effective as what we see nowadays we can easily keep in touch with special ones in many different ways such as phone calls, emails, video calls, and platforms like Messenger, Instagram which is effective and sufficient for local and oversea communication and it does not seem harmful for people’s lives.
Next, the properly uses of electrical devices like smart mobiles would help us enhance our quality of life. As for smartphones, there are many built-in functions which help our daily living lives easier. For instance, last year, when I came to study abroad, Maps was important for me when I first arrived that helped me find the way to school, Asian-stores, and any other places which was really hard for me and if my smartphone did not have that function. It will take long time and many risks before I am adapted to live in oversea.
To sum up, I agree that smartphones are not really dangerous to our lives due to the fact that they improve the ways people keep in touch with each others and useful built-in functions that enhances our lives’ quality. It depends on the ways how people use them.
