Extinction is the death of all member of the species of any living organisms. If majority of the species of animals are on the dawn of extinction, then we would lose the natural caretakers of the world. Although some people believe that we should focus more our existing problems, it is morally righteous for the world to stand up for these animals and protect them from becoming extinct.
Every living being on the world has a particular role to play in order to survive. These range from protecting the surroundings to hunting and preying on other species. Its all part of the nature. If we try to breakdown any element from the cycle, it affects the whole food chain, which are part of the ecology. For instance, like may other carnivores, red wolves play a critical role in the ecosystems. They were serving as a check on the prey populations that may otherwise grow out of control.
Whereas, if we look at our own species, homo sapiens, as we evolve, we introduce more challenges for our survival. There are problems that had emerged are not yet resolved. The major debates which are still buzzing includes the human rights, racism, climate change, poverty, and so on. Every year we develop new theories that primarily focus on the inter-dependency aspect of the environmental and economic issues. But we could not find practical solutions to the most evident problems that affect our biodiversity.
No single issue can be isolated from the others. Every species losing the habitat has a direct consequence over the environment, in turn, affects the biodiversity. All the species take care of themselves, when undisturbed. By protecting the remaining species of animals from becoming endangered, we could resolve our present challenges.
