It is said that many students now choose to study higher education in other countries. While acknowledging the demerits it has, I agree with this approach and this essay will provide relevant arguments.
Admittedly, travelling to other countries for higher education can have some significant disadvantages. Firstly, its costs can be absurdly high. To settle in and study in a different country, students will not only have to pay for their education fees but also many more expenses, such as water, electricity and house bill by themselves. Thereby, students will be forced to pay thousands of dollars just to meet their daily needs. Secondly, students will be at risk of getting scammed. Many freshman often follow words from native people due to their lack of languages and culture knowledge. Many scammer will then capitalize this weakness and try to scam the students. As a result, by listening to these scammers, students might risk losing a lot of money.
However, this notion is flawed since studying aboard can brings students many benefits. Firstly, students will be provided with better studying environment. In the recent years many Europe countries such as America or France have invested a lot of funding into universities for upgrades in services and infrastructures. Subsequently, when studying these places, students will be able to fully concentrate in classes and have access to many modern services. Secondly, international universities often provide students with countless opportunities. Many college now usually invite famous experts in differences aspects of the industry to become a professor. As a result, through many interactions with these professionals during classes, students will not only learn many practical knowledges but also discovering many opportunities for their career.
In conclusion, while studying aboard can cost a lot of money and put students at risks of being scammed, I believe the merits it has is far more beneficial for students in terms of better studying environment and opportunities.
