In our contemporary world, there is a matter of debate in topic wheater it is effective to study alone or in a group. Some individual believe it is far more efficient to study in a group as it encourages communication and motivation for students, while others contend that pursuing academics alone helps to stay concentrated, making it the best way to learn. I agree with the later view.
Studying in group encourages communication between pupil. First and foremost, students can interact between each other assisting to answer each other’s questions. Group studying also provides sense of belonging and community consisting of similar thinkers. This as a result may prevent most common faced challenges during solitude learning, such as loneliness or isolation. Another argument is permanent motivation. Adoloscents tend to easily abondon pursuing if studying alone, but with the people surrounded they subconsciously get involved to the healthy competition environment. This provides longer studying hours, making it much more efficient.
However, despite these advantages, I still believe that individual studying is the best option, regarding the efficiency. Firstly, it helps to stay locked in. Students have an inclination to be disturbed by other factors while learning in a group, such as unnecessary small talks, food intake or smartphones. Moreover, pursuing academics alone forces to stay focused all time, completing tasks with efficiency and better result. It also creates permanent discipline through consistent repetition with deep focus, again making it the most effective way ever.
In conclusion, learning in the group is undoubtedly great way of studying, considering communication and motivation. However, I find individual studying to be a better and efficient way to achieve high academic success.
