Finding a satisfying job has become difficult especially after completing the graduation. I believe that many reasons have led this situation, but certain preventive steps must be taken to combat this scenario. All the root causes along with solutions to them are explained in the following paragraphs.
To begin with, there are many causes that occur hard to find a professional job. First and foremost, Universities’ syllabus is not satisfying the companies’ requirements. To be more precise, in many countries, universities teach more theory-based subjects rather than practical based, and companies need more practical skills, that is why most students are not full-fill their requirement and do not get a job. For instance, most of South Asian colleges around 70% give only book-based knowledge to their students rather than experiments based. Another one is that increasing population also cause this situation because many people are competing for one position, and it rises job demand.
On the other hand, there are several preventing steps for this. The primary one is that Universities should change their syllabus and teaching methods accordingly industrial requirements. This helps students to gain more industries related skills. To exemplify, in many western countries, colleges adapt industry related courses and teach to students that help to get a job after completing their graduation. Additionally, Universities should hold placement events where companies are come to give job offer to pupils based on their skills.
In conclusion, graduates are unable to find jobs due to some reasons like lack of necessary skills and overpopulation, however, there are many solutions like teaching experimental skills and hold placement events. It is suggested that government also takes some decision to reduce population.
