In current situation, most of the students stay away from home and lack their parents as the semester is eventful. However, elsewhere while other students stay with their household. There are benefits and drawbacks in the student, which will be discussed below paragraph.
To begin with, most of students has the development of independence away from home is the managing of their income. Students are responsible for managing their schedules, finance and daily tasks such as cooking and cleaning. A major advantage is living alone can provide a sense of freedom and personal space.
Another merit is we can make new friends. It is very helpful in university life. Final benefit is, we can get confident in facing problems as well as solve the problem. They will learn another society culture. It has got few disadvantages, major drawback is students who live far from their parents may experience loneliness, weakness on emotional stress. Another disadvantage is, living independently can be financially challenging, especially when paying for rent, utilities and food.
On the other hand, other students live with their family. Students who remain at home during their university years benefit from the emotional and financial support of their families. The major advantage is they often don’t worry about food and meal. Also, they can take healthy food at their house and it is good for their health. Home environment can also reduce stress and provide more relaxation. They may less pressure to make their own decisions or participate in social activities. Another disadvantage is family responsibilities or distractions at home may interfere with their academic results.
Conclusion: Both housing arrangements have their own advantages and disadvantages. While living away from home encourages independence, it can be stressful and costly.
