Nowadays, it seems that women are entering “male occupations” more than ever before, and vice versa.Choosing employees based on their gender has been brought into focus.Personally, I believe that some jobs are classified initially based on gender.Therefore, this essay will discuss the reasons for my position.
Firstly, there is a vast amount of work in our communities that would be done by men only, while other posts could be done by women mainly. In other words, these professions have some specific requirements that rely on female or male capacities and characteristics.For example, there are numerous positions that require strong physical abilities such as building houses, mechanical engineering, and fixing cars.Nevertheless, both genders have physical abilities, but men are stronger.
Secondly, ladies are more efficient than men in various posts like fashion designing, decorating, and modeling, because women have a special role in choosing colours, designing clothes, and representing colours.For instance, the most popular fashion designers are womenfolk. Maybe, there is a slight difference in the number of men but it is still smaller than the number of womankind. Although, there are exceptions to every rule as it is a general rule for women or men to do a specific role based on their traits.
In conclusion, these reasons provide a clear view about how gender can influence job efficiency.However, men with their physical abilities can not be as efficient in designing or modeling and gentlewomen with their skills in color, can not be efficient in building houses.
