In today’s modern society, mobiles phones have played an essential role in our everyday lives. However, some argue that along with the benefits that come with mobiles phones, their negative affects on human health greatly overweigh these benefits. In my opinion, I partly agree with the idea that mobile phones bring greater dangers than benefits.
To begin with, mobiles phones has brought crucial changes in the way society operates. In the past, mobile phones started out as a tool for us to communicate with each other through great distances. Since then, we are able to use the phones is a lot more tasks in our day to day lives. We are now able to listen to music, play games, take pictures, record videos, watch videos, navigate, and many more tasks. Along with the development of social media, we are now able to reach out even greater distances and connect with people from around the world.
On the other hand, these benefits of the mobile phone also come with unforeseen consequences. Firstly, the over-reliance on mobile phones will prevent us from being able to independently perform simple tasks. Another danger of mobile phones is that we would no longer see the value of connecting face to face and over time would begin to lose our social interactions. Finally, cyberbullying has affected greatly our mental health and has caused a lot of unfortunate situations where people have fallen into serious depression.
In conclusion, mobile phones have brought both advantages and disadvantages. As with anything in life, using our mobiles phones in life more moderately and appropriately can help midigate some of the dangers that it brings. We should use the mobile phone as it was intended, to socialize with others but also keep a healthy relationship and use it as an opportunity to connect with more people.
