Nowadays, people are spending their time on modern communication forms such as email and messaging rather than seeing and talking face to face. This problem has influenced on their social lifestyles worldwide.
On one hand, the forms of communication are useful for those who live or study abroad or far away from their relatives, friends and parents. For example, after I had purchased a smartphone, I experienced this situation when I traveled around Samarkand where is one of the most popular province in Uzbekistan. As far as I know, I took some photos and videos in order to send them to my mum to entertain her that I was able to be independent.
On the other hand, I strongly disagree with the notion that messaging or chatting have reduced the amount of time people spend meeting with each other. Therefore, using these communication forms on a phone or a laptop can affect your vision if you don’t reduce the time. For instance, my older brother is keen on using his computer for chatting and what I ask about his devices, he can easily respond me. before getting the degree, his vision was as sharp as an eagle’s. However, his eyes damaged from those forms that I emphasised.
To sum up, given the multitude of data and studies that back this claim, I strongly believe that modern communication is more convenient for those who are overseas students and reside in a long distance from their families. In addition, I can not agree with the view that messaging a lot is appropriate and has a negative effect on your health
