On one hand, due to the advent of technology. People are using smartphones to send photos, videos, and messages worldwide. The high-speed internet like Zoom and Skype are covered with longer distances. They can maintain the relationship online. It will reduce the frequency of face-to-face interactions. The bit more formal, people have been using e-mail for a long time to send detailed messages and important documents. The rise of on-demand streaming services, video games, and other forms of digital entertainment have made staying at home.

On the other hand, people are busy with schedule for jobs and looking after a child. They couldn’t able to spend with friends for a long time. In large cities, people are far from their friend’s home. They face challenges like traffic and public transportation which can discourage spontaneous meetups. For example, People who are working in night shift and 12-hour shift face difficulty in meeting up with their friends.

In conclusion, while modern communications have made it easy to make friends, it will decrease face-to-face interactions leads to negatively impact on social lives. The overreliance of digital communication can weaken social relationships, foster isolation, coupled with busy lifestyles and hinder the development of social skills. It is crucial to prioritize in-person to maintain strong and meaningful connections with friends.
