The expenditure of various nations towards space science is a hotly debated issue. While some argue that spending to much money for such explorations is a waste, many people think that it is a vital thing to do. I agree with the later thought stating the crucial nature of such discoveries. The main reason why I agree with such thinking is that if successful, they may provide a nation an optional inhabitable place other than what it has that can be used for situations such as during a nucear war and it may also make one country secure interms of military issue as such researches may enable a nation to have a full control over its air space.

Nowadays, there is a growing fear of world war three and it is believed that the fearful war may involve nucear bombs as various nations have various war heads of this kind. Such weapons, if used, will contaminate a specified nation and the earth in general. Hence it is imperative to say that a nation should work on projects involving a space exploration so that it may uncover a hidden planet that can be used as a shelter from a nucear radiation that arise from the feared potential war. Apart from this threat, the research may also result in discovering a new planet with plenty of resources that can be used as raw materials by varous factories.

Beside this, there is a growing interest in space for owning stations that can be used as control sites by a country. Example, many developing countries like USA, Russia, China, and others are competing in the space to have a better control over the sky, mainly for military purposes. These activities by many nations may be used to secure an improved military capability on space. This will inturn benefit governments to have a better position in defending thier country.

In summary, I think that the importance of spending money on space discoveries overweighs the disadavntages associated with it. A country can get advantages including unleashing a new habitat that can be used in difficult times and may also gain an advantage in boosting its control over its teritory.
