Animals are the main link in food chain. However, As the times flies by more and more animals face the risk of extinction.
The main problems that puts animals to the verge of extinction are global warming, excessive hunting, harmful waste, deforestation and etc. Animals are accommodated to live in a fixed temprature , but as the humanity develop it brings the problem called GLOBAL WARMING. Recently global warming is in its peak . It causes frequent climate change , which makes it harder to adapt. Humans are clever beings , but not the other animals. We can easily adapt to any change , however that is not a thing for animals. Even a slight change in climate can ruin their habitat. Which leads first habitat and then animal extinction. The other problem that is worth mentioning is excessive hunting. Especially, fish species endure it a lot. Daily millions of fish getting catched witouht permisson , which makes them endangered . There a still tons of problems left and deforestation is one of them. It harms animals directly . Especially, animals that forest is their habitat. People deforestate areas in order to build edificies. And while doing it they take out huge chunks of forests like it is nothing. Birds suffer from it most. The edificies that are built in place of forests are no good for animals either. Since , new buildings means more waste. İt troubles the water and land species . Toxic waste are harmful for animals. It causes excessive poisoning or mutation among the animals. They either die from poison or breed and spread the mutation which ends up unabling the new species to breed.
The best solutions to combat these problems are to put endangered animals to red book, putting restriction laws to hunting, recycling waste and making protected areas. Therefore, goverment is responsible for these solutions. For example, Azerbaijan has protected areas. These areas are main habitats of endangered species , which are entering is prohibited. Moreover, there are hunting restrictions. Which limits the amount of animals can be hunted yearly. Lastly, red book is global book for endangered species, animals that appear in this book are strictly prohibited to hunt.
In conclusion, animals are on the verge of extinction. The Goverment should bear responsibility for these solutions.
