Shopping online is thought to be an adversarial issue springing in the bustling modern world due to its complicated influences. From my personal perspective, while others disavowing to the view that e-commerce may create a variety of favorable impacts, I would contend that this type of purchasing has a huge amount of drawbacks on both consumers and sellers.
It is a misperception to consider that virtual shopping is a breakthrough in the purchasing industry under the light of desirable effects bringing. Advocates of such a view would argue that raising job opportunities might be the chief benefit as employment attributed to electronic shopping firms has risen continuously. Nevertheless, such reasoning seems invalid because online retailers are able to sell more products with fewer workers than traditional stores. Furthermore, online sales representatives often have more flexibility in making decisions including applying coupons, meeting competitors’ prices, which could motivate the constructive-fraud among online shops.
On the other hand, I concur with those who argue that cyber shopping is causing difficulties as well as undesirable impacts on human life. To begin with, socially looking, communicating dissatisfactions are more likely to be difficult online and often takes enormous patience as well as the tenacity to achieve gratification. It does not stop there, tax evasion or tax avoidance are thought to be derived directly when online shopping platforms do not collect sales tax in most states. Web-based networked vendors, consequently, give the state an unfair advantage over brick-and-mortar stores, which leads to the shortage in the revenue of each territory. Apart from that, online purchasers tend to violate the copyright of other rival companies’ photos since the staffs upload those without permission.
For the aforementioned reasons, I am absolutely convinced that shopping in the Internet brings more risks to the consumers than store shopping
