Nowadays, a number of people prefer utilizing private cars rather than public transportation. This trend is mainly caused by factors such as comfort, and social status. This essay will discuss those reasons and suggests solutions that government can implement.

To begin with, one of main reasons is comfort and convenience. This is because cars allow people to travel at any time without waiting for any buses or trains. Take an example of this , a lot of people drive to work to save time instead of crowded public transport. Morever, cars can symbolize people’s social statues. Mainly because it is the easiest way to wealth.For instance, if somebody has car it shows that how succesful they are.

To address this issues, government should conduct several practical measures. One of main solution is to improve quality of public transport. For example,setting reliable timetable can reduce delays and overcrowding. As a result, there will be cleaner, safer, more comfortable vehicles. Another measure is to make it affordable such as lower ticket prices,student discounts and monthly passes.

Overall, today people tend to use private cars due to comfort, social status. Government can encourage public transport by improving quality of it, student discounts and low ticket price.
