In these days, increasing number of students are deciding to continue their further education abroad. This trend has its own positives for students such as gaining higher education in developed countries and becoming independent, while feeling homesickness and financial difficulties could be considered as drawbacks.
On the one hand, there are some benefits of pursuing to study overseas. For example, developed countries such as the USA, Germany and the UK have superior educational systems and top-ranked universities. Studying at these universities provides personal development and better qualifications to students which will be useful for their future careers and securing high-paid occupations. Furthermore, living and learning in different countries students make their own meals, go shopping, ask for directions and allocate their time which makes them independent.
On the other hand, students may face some challenges while studying abroad. Firstly, young people when they go to another country for the first time they might feel homesick. This is because their family are far away from them and cannot meet frequently as before. As a result students tend to get stressed and feel alone which may affect their emotional well-being. Sometimes studying abroad can be expensive. This may cause students to work and study simultaneously. Doing so students sometimes cannot manage their time wisely. Moreover, students could put their parents under financial burden.
In conclusion, students who study abroad might have the opportunity to enter renowned universities with better education and making decisions for themselves whereas emotional and financial difficulties are considered as disadvantages.
