In these days, people tend to believe that subjects in the contemporary world are subjected to be Maths,Physics and Chemistry; which are clearly scientific. They also believe that these are the prerequisites to get a stable job later on in the future.However,subjects like history are as much as important as these scientific counterparts.In my opinion,we must focus on both for a overall personality development. This essay shall explain the benefits of learning both.
When considering career paths like Engineering,Medical and others,we generally have a perception that we would require to be good at calculus,quantum mechanics and at managing accounts and economics.On the contrary,we fail to consider other areas of subjects like history which is basically knowing about our past times.According to me,history helps us to realise the mistakes of the past constitutions and governments and not repeat the same.lt allows us to understand the different kinds of systems that played a role back then.We acknowledge the system and get to know what changes to make for a better future without simply just repeating the same old system in this ever changing world.
History has got us where we are today and without it, we will just be explorers wandering around for a better life. Therefore,I strongly agree that history is an essential subject as it plays a very crucial role in building our lives. Just learning scientific and accounting subjects may get us a degree but will never have the accountability to provide a consistent life for all of us.
In conclusion,learning both history as well as other academic subjects will have an equal impact on our lives and are both required for the development of this world.Without one,the other one would simply perish.
