These days, beauty industry is widespread all around the world. Therefore, many men and women tend to use a large amount of money on their beauty care. In this essay, I’ll discuss about the root cause of this tendency, the reasons and possible implications of it.
Currently, marketing is a really cost-effective field of business and is a part of any type of industry. From my perspective, marketing, it is the root cause of why people now are fixated on their appearance much more than it used to be in the past. People face a variety of sorts of advertisements these days. Moreover, social media networks are common as well, which chiefly introduces marketing into people’s daily lives. Consequently, the manufacturers have the chance to advertise their products easily, particularly that ones, that are related to the beauty industry. As a result of this, nowadays, beauty standards are really high to men as well as women, and that is why people chase and prioritize the perfect appearance, partly ignoring all the personal qualities they might have.
Indeed, this has its own principles why it has changed human’s lives so much. I personally believe, the main reason of that people have such kind of tendency these days is a dirty marketing. That is when producers create a problem, and then they accidently “manufacture” the solution of it, that people are able to buy for some amount of money. And sure enough, they force people to believe, that they do have this issue via commercials, that people face everywhere.
Unfortunately, this can have some negative implications in the future. The main one is that people will begin to rely on advertisements, which are the biggest part of marketing too much, that they will not even have their personal view. Moreover, the production and use of cosmetics in such a huge amount, in the future, can lead to more problems with reusing. Even though, we’ve already have these types of issues these days as well, with this tendency, it will be much worse in the near future.
In conclusion, no matter how many advertisements about beauty standards and industries we face daily, we should not prioritize it, and chase the ideal appearance. The better way is trying our best to have a fabulous soul, not a body.
