Nowadays celebrities make more money compared to people working in politics. This essay we will look on the possible reason for this tendency and explain why, in my opinion, this is negative development.
There are two main reasons for this why celeb generate more income than politicians. One of them is that the advent of internet, there are more ways available now than before to earn more money. Such as online streaming services. For example, singing a song in a you tube video with some advertisement easily make few million dollars. Another big reason for high popularity of global concerts. Celebrities can be the part of one and getting more heigh remuneration compare to political leader. That is why many governments reform the reward system for them.
I personally believe that this is development is relatively negative for several causes, first because of this lawmaker influence to being corrupted. And second one is that to received more money they involved in money laundering. In both ways they become the harmful to the citizen of their own country.
In conclusion, celebrities are paid more money than political leaders because of different source of income are available for them, and supported the social norm that a politics should not be a profitable profession. However, I believe this is drawback trend which may lead to political corruption and less effective governments.
