Nowadays, most parents are seeking to send their children abroad to pursue their studies. However, others believe that it has some disadvantages for their children. The question at stake does the benefits outweigh the consequences.
To begin with, pursuing studies abroad has some advantages on teenagers. Discovering new people from different cultures, traditions, and nationalities develops their social relationships. For instance, catching up Moroccan students who are famous by charity, collaboration, and other related things; enabling international students to get new experiences, and complete subjects which are not affordable in their countries, which may offer to be fluent in language to communicate with others effortlessly. Moreover, living alone far from their parents contributes to building a strong character, growth self-confidence, and self-esteem. For example, being alone for a long time teaches them to make decisions alone, and to not rely on others. Furthermore, studying and graduating overseas provide them with more job opportunities than in their home country.
Adversely, sending offspring abroad without any experience in life has some drawbacks. First of all, transmitting a spoiled child on his own in a new country may lead to some suffering consequences. For example, without the supervision of parents, these children may follow bad companions to drink alcohol, and get drugs which will destroy his own life. In addition, international students are the most people who suffer from racism, especially black ones, while they cannot get their rights as a white’s. Additionally, encouraging and helping students to pursue studies abroad may affect the Home Country for a long term especially in the economic field where they may not have labors.
To conclude is probably true the benefits of drawbacks. Personally, I believe that sending students overseas is an effective Choice which has more advantages for future generations and the increase of agency that only handles student missions.
