Although, there are people who believe that taking photos of celebrities everywhere has become an appropriate behaviour that stimulate sales, others are convinced that it ought to be stopped, because it could be distructed. In my opinion, we should not cross the line by following famous people.
On the one hand, celebrities use social media actively by posting photos that have been taken professionally, which has an influence on their income. Indeed, it represents a great strategy to promote live concerts or personal brands and stimulate young adults to buy them. For instance, recently sir Paul McCartney posted a photo on Instagram which has been taken accidentally by magazine. As a result, there are celebrities who not only do not mind it, but also exploit photographers for personal interests.
On the other hand, famous people do not appreciate to being followed, because it can lead to dangerous consequences. Sometimes, passioned professional photographers can cross the line and invade celebrities’ personal lives, which might be considered as a flagrant. For example, a lead singer from the band ‘Ace of base’ has been followed by a photographer and has got a psychological damage. Evidently, this example demonstrates that constant presents of media around the famous people can cause inconvenience.
From my perspective, I would reckon that we ought to use social media for following our idols. Indeed, nowadays we have opportunities not only to watch photos on Internet, but also to interact with celebrities via different online platforms. In this case, if we could accept this pattern, we would enjoy photos that have been taken or chosen by famous people.
While some people are convinced that constant presents of photographers does not cause any problems and can be profitable for celebrities, others believe it is purely injustice. From my perspective, we should let famous people post photos on social media and follow them there.
