The issue of transportation in the world has escalated in importance over the last past decades due to growing of population. Instead of building new roads, public transports are become widespread by governments. There are several reasons behind that, such as the price of the creating new roads and lack of time to improve transportation system. Despite some drawbacks, it is generally positive as building new areas for vehicles might destroy the environment and lead to people use their own cars.
One of the reasons why governments avoid construct new roads is that it is more expensive than buying new busses and trains. If the authorizes decide to do that, they have to hire numerous employees in order to plan and build the road projects. In addition, creating a new way that has an average length are most likely to take at least 3 months. However, when administration buy vehicles, they allocate less money and time.
Furthermore, when authorities of the countries organize to make more roads, they usually cut trees and demolish natural fields. Also, citizens are less likely to go somewhere by public transports when they will use the road firstly. Therefore, people prefer to drive their private cars and it increase carbon emission. As a result, construction transportation paths cause of environmental pollution.
In conclusion, since building new roads are expensive and take a lot of time, governments are most likely to prefer buy vehicles such as busses and trains. The advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages because spreading public transportation is more environmentally friendly.
