Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Most of the parents who are employed believe that it is beneficial to leave children at home with their grandparents for their better care, whilst other working group opines that sending them to childcare centre will be a good option for an easy lifestyle. In my opinion, though such centres helps offsprings to engage with the surroundings and free them from boredom but the values which their own elders give to them are unmatched. Therefore, this essay will discuss both the views and present my own opinion.

On the one hand, it is said that centres operating for taking care of children are better for them. This could be because of many reasons. One of them is that these institutions hire educated and experienced staff who can immediately assist a child whenever they are in need. For example, if a kid is injured or hungry, then the staff is already prepared with things beforehand. Other reason is that short-term interaction with friends and peers helps a child in boosting social communication as well as it enhances their confidence to talk in public and they can also feel productive and energized than staying at homes.

On the other hand, it is considered that grandparents are an exceptional people who can look after their grandchildren seamlessly and without any greed. The primary factor regarding this is that even though they are not much educated like the care takers but they have an ample of life experience in taking care of their own toddlers too which makes them highly knowledgable regarding this concept. Not only this but they embeds those kinds of skills and values which even big institutions or childcare centres cannot inculcate in them. In Canada, to exemplify, many children lives with their grandparents when their own parents goes at work. So, I have seen in my own home where I live, they transfer good etiquettes such as how to talk with other people or how to behave in public etc. in them to make them a good human being.

In conclusion, what most needed in our society, nowadays, is good values and skills in a person which in my mindset, only elderly people can pass on to their younger generation rather than any other childcare centres. Thus, leaving a child with their grandparents at home while parents running a rat race seems to offer secure and better life to a child ahead in future too.
