It has become increasingly common for people to buy products on the internet. While there can be certain positive aspects of this phenomenon, I firmly believe that the negative aspects are far more significant.
On the one hand there are several upsides of online shopping. One of the main benefit is convenience. This is because buyers can buy anything without walking long distances, in addition there are many choices with low prices compared than the in-stores and they can found any kind of unique products which are not traded in supermarkets or small shops. By doing this, people can save big part of their time and their money. Another crucial advantages is delivery service. Some people live far from the city centers such as villages or other kind of remote areas, there are not any shops to buy different items which they need, that’s why they often decided to buy products online. For instance, in my country almost every online shop developers has delivery service, this can be beneficial for buyers who live in remote areas.
However, despite these advantages, I totally believe that the downsides are far more crucial. The first significant drawback is poor quality of product . Many people cannot see the real vision of the product, and they do not aware about products quality and cannot check it. As a result, product will come with low quality and they cannot use it efficiently. The second disadvantages is overspending. There are too many advertisements on the internet, if people see this kind of unnecessary adverts, they decided to buy it although the product is not need. For example, in many countries people often spend their amount of money to unnecessary items. Consequently, ordering unnecessary products will become habit in their daily routines.
In conclusion, although there might be assumed several advantages of online shopping such as convenience and delivery services, I remain convinced that this can be detrimental for individuals because of low quality and overspending.
