After completing their education, people have to determine a vocation or profession that they prefer, rather than one where they would earn the best income. While I agree with this statement, I do believe that there are some exceptions.
There are some reasons why I agree with such an idea. Firstly, working in an uninteresting field quickly becomes tedious, so an individual could feel this exhaustion in any other aspect of their lives and suffer a breakdown. Secondly, working at a dream job gives satisfaction and improves person’s motivation to develop new skills. For example, person who loves programming will improve their skills and after a few years come to a good salary, rather than a person who works in IT just for money.
On the other hand, there is a problem with a profession’s need and relevance in individuals’ countries. People just would not be able to find a vocation or well-paid position. For instance, an applicant in any way could not find a highly-paid job in Azerbaijan because that profession is not developed, so they have no choice but to relocate overseas or change their plans.
In conclusion, while I agree that favorite work can give much more motivation than hated one, which also can be a cause of breakdowns. However, there are situations where people are forced to change their decisions.
