In recent times, there has been an increasing number of buyers of luxury brands. From my perspective, the desire for validation is the reason that they want to appear wealthy and able to buy anything, along with consumerism habits. Overall, it can be seen that obtaining a famous trademark has more drawbacks than benefits.
The reasons for people purchasing luxury trademarks are the pursuit of validation and it has become a consumerism habit. In addition, the disposition of human beings acknowledged as rich people is one of the falsehoods, if the facts are widely distinguished. This action can lead to being dashing and flexing. Furthermore, this will impact the behavior of societal traditions. For instance, women influenced by social media may waste their money to gain confirmation of their wealth, even though the reality is often widely distinguished, which leads to consumerist habits.
However, I suppose that the quest for validation has consequences that lead to unhealthy consumerism, including social and economic inequality, mental health issues, and unsustainable debt. For example, when people become addicted to purchasing luxury items and develop tendencies to shopaholic, it may trigger them to spend a lot of money, resulting in debt.
In conclusion, people prefer to buy famous brands because it has become a habit and they are looking for validation from others. It is clear that the addiction to purchasing famous items leads to negative development.
