In recent years, some individuals want to purchase things which are produced by well-known brands such as clothes and cars. There are several reasons of this. In my opinion it is negative trend. In this essay, I will support my view with reasons and examples.
There could be various factors that leading to buy expensive prompts. Firstly some people who are famous in community like singers or sportsmen generally wear well-known brands’ clothes or drive cars for the advertisement of this brand and encourage people to buy valuables. Secondly, many individuals believe that obtaining these famous items brings them a higher position in society. Moreover, people buy new things even if they actually do not need them.
From my point of view, these kind of behaviours may have adversely effect on development of society because they consume natural resources. Take cars as example. They need the certain amount of raw materials to make a car. Therefore, they should reduce their desire to buying these kind of items.
In conclusion, although people’s desire to buy new valuable things is increasing, in my opinion, they should control it for the development of community.
