Band 5+: "Art and music are considered some of the fundamental elements of all societies. Do you think art and music still have a place in today's modern world of technology? Should children spend more time learning art and music at school?"

Art and music are essential parts of every society, they have a big impact of people and economic. Nothing can replace their importance, even technology in today’s modern life, their importance is irreplaceable. While technology can solve practical problems, art develops imagination and creativity. I believe schools should spend more time learning art and music for improve concentration and patience, discover their talents, also there should be balance with academic subjects.

Nowadays, all society pay attention to technology, for improving economic and to join ranks of developed countries, and art is being sidelined. But it does not mean the value of creativity is lost, art and music always play a crucial role in society. Tecnology can solve a wide of range of complex global and everyday problems, such as education, environmental sustainability, but it cannot solve emotional, social and psychological issues. This cases art and music always works with these issues, for instance when people feel nervous even depression, or psychological diseases doctors always says that patient should engage in art. Also scientists proved that art and music can reduce stress, and be calm with music. Moreover, nowadays some specialist treat people with music, which technoology cannot indispensable with art.

Creativity is also essential for children to create their personality with good behaviour. By drawing pictures, children will be more concentration and discover their talents and details, which truly important cases while studying subjects. But spending more time on art and music, learners have less time to study. So school should seperate time with balanced hours. For example, in elemantary school schildren should spend more time on art and music, whereas in secondary school students should study more academic subjects, but they should not neglect creativity either.

In conclusion, technology cannot replace with art and music, creativity have always play a crucial role in society, and they have always will be a place in modern life. Art and music also need for children for improve their imagination and concentration, but spending more time on creativity, children cannot have enough time study subjects. So there should be balance with academic subjects and arts.
