Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool in helping people with a wide range of tasks. Nowadays exploiting automated robots for performing tasks whether at home or workforces has become commonplace. Due to the numerous benefits of this phenomenon, I would argue that this development should be considered as a positive one.
Admittedly, advanced robots can perform tasks with a high level of productivity and efficiency. In other words, artificial beings are programmed with systems and algorithms, which in turn can ensure productivity along with accuracy. For example, in corporations or companies unlike people, who often fail to do tasks with accumulated speed, robots are capable of performing tasks efficiently, contributing to the prosperity of the company. With increased efficiency and productivity, businesses have a unique chance to generate revenue. The higher the productivity, the more income will be received. This efficiency also can manifest in different forms, in contrast to people robots can provide accuracy. It is obvious that human nature comes up with some shortcomings, which deteriorates the process of work. While calculating profits, people tend to make a mistake, either minor or major. In this case, automated machines come into play, they are considered to be flawless, hindering chances of causing bad circumstances.
Another perk of this trend is that robots can ensure employees’ safety. Having been replaced human beings in hazardous labor, artificial intelligence can mitigate some concerns, associated with the working environments of individuals, which in turn works for the betterment of people’s well-being. Provided that some jobs may detrimentally affect the overall well-being of people, adopting robots seems to prevent several work-related incidents. For example, employees, working as miners may be exposed to chemical substances and gases such as methane, coal and other harmful substances. These issues result in respiratory issues, undermining the overall well-being of individuals. Additionally, in the case of home tasks being performed by robots, automated assistants may assist the elderly, who are considered to be physically limited to doing certain daily tasks. Seniors may fail to cope with doing house chores such as cooking, and cleaning to name but a few. Robots can provide the help and support they need, meaning that the elderly will not be isolated.
In conclusion, the widespread integration of automated robots in various aspects of our lives, from workplaces to homes, presents a positive development. The efficiency, accuracy, and safety benefits offered by advanced robots contribute not only to increased productivity in businesses but also to the well-being of individuals.
