In these days, most of the work are done by robots. In my opinion, it’s a completely positive development for mankind due to reduction of physical work and improvement in productivity.
To begin with, increasing number of robots can cause the decline of human role in heavy labour. Since heavy work done by humans can lead to a lot of physical and mental illnesses, i consider it as a one of the most crucial developments of this century. According to some of the richest businessesmens such as Jack Ma, increasing number of robots in labour can lead to unemployment in the future. However, this is far away from the reality. We basically just do more “in demand” works, which are the priority of the century of technology. With this improvement, we can spend less time at work and more time to deal with sports or other kinds of physical and mental “therapies”.
Secondly, nowadays our world requires more productivity in industries. Usage of robots considerably inclines the efficiency in all kinds of factories, as it also reduces mistakes and expense in production. While some economists thought this would cause less salaries earned by employees soon, we can see that in most developed countries with strong ai and robot bases, both employers and employees face with annual salary increases. Which is also required by world economy. For instance the reason why baltic states’ economies saw geniunaly rapid growth is their priority in this topic.
In conclusion, i consider the utilization of robots in heavy work as one of the most important developments in our work life, due to its wide range of applications that improves world and humanity
