World is changing so fast in terms of many aspects, especially in the topics of education and future professions. So, there could be pressure from parents on their children to be successful in life. Why? I will try to clarify some reasons and show the point if this is a negative or positive way.
Despite the fact that children are not the future projects of the parents, however, parents are interested to give fruitful life to them, so, pressure is occurring. Each of them has the visualization of their children in the form they would love to see. Some of them imagine their babies as a singer, sportsmen, physician, some of them in a totally different position. For example, my parents had a pressure on me to make a doctor, due to reasons that all our relatives are related to this scope. I have had choice my own way to become a marketer to do what I love to do. Older generation never can assume the professions of the future, such as AI engineering, coding, customer experience, robotics solutions and so on.
Talking about pross and cons of this approach, I guess it has more negative consequences than positive sides. At the end of the day, the children will be forced to choose and implement the dream of their parents, not their own.
To sum up, it is important to mention and track that, parents should not put much pressure on their children, they should work on them to be critical thinker, researcher, curious and fast learner. With these skill children will be able to find their own happy life.
