Cutting – edge technology now is accessible for variety range of people because of its convenience and efficience. Many people think that in the future, smart devices will replace human assistants. In my opinion, the replacement of personal assistants has both benefits drawbacks.
There are various benefit in using artificial intelligent rather than human assistants. Firstly, it is true that smart devices are more intelligent than human so they can solve the problem faster than them. For instance, some artificial intelligent such as Siri, Alexa or Chat gpt can do complex task like a hard literature question in a minutes. Secondly, a virtual assistan has an automation of routine tasks. They can set your schedule or remides we to do special work, and especially, it can intergrate really well with other devices. In traddition, it is not hard to have a virtual assistants like to hire a human assistants.
On the other hand, the replacement of personal assistants also bring disadvantages. Firstly, many people believe that they will easily get identify theft. Personal information can be stored and processed by smart devices lead to potential for hackers to access sensitive data. Secondly, it is common belief that if smart device replace personal assistant, it will cause umemployment in various jobs. Therefore, many people who are translators, assistan or receptionist will help to alter their careers. Finally, with the intelligent of technology, people will depend on it. It will lead to the decline of critical thinking and ploblem – solving skill. Therefore, people will have less interaction and social skills.
In conclusion, replacing human assistants by smart device do have benefits. However, the drawbacks of it is outweight the benefits.
