One of the important reasons for the growth of overseas holidays is the development of vehicles like planes, trains, and cars. In the past people had to move between cities and countries by riding animals like horses which took days to arrive at their destination. It reminds me of my grandfather’s memories of going to Iraq, where is the neighbor of Iran, for his business on his foot. Walking for weeks to cross a few hundred kilometers is unbelievable. These days going around the world is much easier than before and you can go everywhere easily in a few hours. Additionally, countries had kept their borders hard from strangers in the past because of wars and so on, but these days peaceful countries are welcoming other nations, and it encourages people to spend their vocation abroad.
