However, they are unaware of the impact of garbage on the environment. For instance, a recent study has shown that due to the substantial production of garbage, the global temperature of the Earth is rising. This clearly indicates the devastating impact of trash on the environment. Furthermore, although the lack of awareness may partly contribute to the high production of garbage, consumerism also plays a pivotal role in the generation of trash. To be more precise, in this economically-driven world, individuals often purchase products to show off their lifestyle, even if they do not necessarily need them. Thus, consumerism is also a significant reason for the high production of garbage.
Similarly, the government can establish factories for recycling trash. Since people do not have nearby places to recycle their trash, the introduction of factories could be a better solution to address this problem. For example, in Norway, people faced a similar issue, and the government constructed recycling factories to tackle the problem. Surprisingly, the establishment of these factories led to a significant increase in garbage recycling. Additionally, the government can implement a scheme where individuals receive incentives, such as money, for depositing their trash. Hence, this strategy can be adopted by authorities to reduce trash production.
