The ways of teenagers communicating with their peers and family members have been changed from face-to -face to online recently. This essay agrees that it brings negative development to teens as chatting online are difficult to understand others feeling and lacks of interactions.

Using social media to chat make teenagers hard to know others emotions. Many young people thinks that chatting online can replace talking face-to-face. However , using phones to communicate not only can’t see other facial expressions, but also cannot feel their real emotions. For example , when people texting online, they can always hide their emotions better. While in face-to-face occations, people can understand your feeling by your expression and tone of speaking.

Texting each other online cause yougsters to communicate less with people online. As online communication are getting popular, many teens would rather chat online than taking face-to-face. As a result, they prefer to talk online even they are next to each other in real life. For example, I have seen that in a family garthering, every family members are sitting at the same table, but they are communicating online. During the whole garthering none of them were talking, they are just communicating in phones.

To conclude, a using social media platforms to chat with other would bring negative development for teens. Not only will they cannot fully understand others emotions , but also making them to lost their social skills in real Iife.
