In recent years, one of the most growing problems among people in developed countries is obesity. There are many causes to this problem, but I strongly believe that lack of physical exercise and diet is the main reason to it. Although there are different measures to this issue, but physical exercise and awareness is the main solution to tackle this growing problem.
First and foremost, one of the main reasons for people getting fat and obese is lack of movement. As people consume fat, oil, and high protein, they need to constantly move their body in order to burn that consumed fat. However, since the globe has become technologicaly so advanced, there is fewer physical labor. Most workers work from home. Therefore, there is fewer physical activity and the unused fat inside the body stacks up, eventually makes people obese. In America, for example, most kids spend their days playing video games and watching streams and videos. Thus, they hardly associate themselves with sports or any other physical activity.
To combat obesity, physical exercise such as squats, push-ups, pull-ups, jumping, walking, jogging is the primary and most effective solution. Fitness and a healthy body revolves around exercises. Additionally, governments should implement laws to fast food shops, street vendors, and restaurants. Because fast foods are the primary provider of excessive fat and sugar. Since, fast foods are quite accessible and easy to order, people from developed countries, whom have a comfortable lifestyle, are leaning towards junk foods. Furthermore, introducing more sports and outdoor games in schools can also be beneficial for a specific generation.
In conclusion, people need to be more aware of obesity and its danger. Moreover, by introducing more physical activity and putting restrictions to high calorie foods, this growing health issue can easily be tackled
