Band 5+: Obesity rates are rising in many countries around the world. What are the main causes of this problem, and what solutions can be offered to tackle it?

It is noticed that Obesity is becoming an increasing serious issue in numerous developed nations. This expanding heath issue may lead to the varoius diseases that may affect the quality of human life. There are numerours reasons of spreading fatness, but effective solutions can help to control this problem.

To commence with, there are varoius causes behind this concern. The prominent one is unhealthy eating habits. Most of the individuals are continouously consuming the junk food containg high calories and drinks which contains sugar in it. Furthermore, lack of exerceise due to their hectic schedule and exccesive dependency on technology are the other factors responsible for obesity. To explicate it, they used to sit for prolonged hours without any physical moment during their office hours. Even they made the use of advanced technology for their shoppings and food deliveries instead of going outside in the market. Hence, these bad habits and lack of awareness are the main factors contributing to the obesity.

Further moving towards the solutions, there are several ways to tackle this expanding issue. Firstly, government should take strict action against unhealthy food and sugary drinks by putting ban on their advertisements. There is need to arrange seminars in education sectors for creating awareness among the students regarding drawbacks of junk food and benefits of healthy diet plan. Moreover, there is need to bring weekly physical activities for employees in the office that may not only help them in burning their calories, but also aid to refreshes their mind that may enhance their concenteration for their work. Therefore, with the support of these measures developed countries can get success in mitigating this growing concern.

In conclusion, it is lucid that although unhealthy eating habits, and lack of exercises are the major causes of increasing obesity in highly developed nations, yet effective measures like strict actions taken by high authorities can help to reduce this problem.
