We live in an age when youngsters are fewer respecting and caring the elders. This is happening because of the children’s upbringing is less controled by their parents, as most of adults are busy because of work. In order to solve this social issue, it is indespansable to increase public awereness about the importance of every age-groups and morals.
It is crystal clear that minors are not capable of differentiating what is wrong or good and adults have to demonstrate good nurturing to them, to raise respectfull generation. However, in 21st century, it is widespread phenomenon when parents do not pay enough attention to childcare due to workload and desire to afford best kindergarten or private-scools for their kids. Thus, kids may be unaware of certain social morals such as respecting elders, helping youngers. According to statistics of BBC news, in New-York, number of children under 7 years old who go to kindergarten raised from 20% to 65% in past 40 years and most parents mentioned that they have full time job. when it comes to teenagers under 17, 50% of them are involved in private schools and academic cirruculims, which means that they lack parential attention.
On the other hand, it is possible to solve this problem through adjustments in school and kindergarten programs. This can be examplified by school called “Haileybury” where primary schools program includes subject such as “ethics” and “society”, which teaches social normals and morals to children and involves them in organisation of charuty activities, where they can interact with aged people and feel their kindness in nursing homes. If younger generation understand that old people are essential part of the community, they will avoid disrespectfullness and misunderstandings.
In conclusion, although parents who are obligated to nurture their children are trusting upbringing to teachers, educators and government evolve social interaction of seperate age groups to overcome teenagers being rude or ignoring elders.
