Band 5+: Once students go to school, teachers have a greater influence on their intellectual and social development than parents. Do you agree or disagree with this belief? Write at least 250 words.

Some people argued that when children begin enroll in educational environment, teachers play a greater role on their knowledge and social skills than parents do.I completely agree with this viewpoint for several reasons.

The main reason why I believe this view is that teacher can help children enhance their mindset in learning environment. Teachers with qualified training often provide educational activities through the lessons which can improve student’s critical thinking, solving-prolem and teamwork skills. For instance ,in England, teachers usually offer children many lessons that they can freely debate and discuss with other students in order to enhance their creativity and confidence. Moreover, children have the interaction between teachers and friends when they are at school ,by this, children can learn how to cooperate with others and concentrate to solve the problems with them.

Another reason why I support the notion is that teachers can shape their habits in long-term time. Students often spend time taking their classes more than being at home, so they can be impacted by their instructors than their parents .For the first long time after being at school , teachers can set a role models for students ,influencing their attitudes and behaviour. In addition, children usually form their thinking when they see how their teachers teach about academic subjects at school. With the disciplined regulations given by their teachers, this can help chiren gradually shape their manner and behaviour.

In conclusion, I completely agree that teachers play more significant role than their parents in nourish and foster children’s intellectual and social skills because of their suitable educational environment and long-term strategy in developing children’s thinking while this things is hardly done at home.
