Traffic congestion is a serious issue that affects most major cities around the world. There are two main causes, which are the increasing population in developed cities and that all individuals have private vehicles. Possible solutions would be to evolve other cities and start to use general automobiles, bicycle.
The two main reasons for traffic congestion in large cities are rapid increase in urban areas and heavy reliance on private transportation. When some cities develop in infrastructure and economy it contributes to increasing population of cities, as a result the city’s population skyrockets which exceeds the norm. Also when the population of the city is exceeding, the majority of people will use transportation. Additionally most of them have private vehicles, as a result it causes traffic congestion.
Some possible solutions to this problem are to advance other cities and encourage people to rely on public transport and bicycles. If the government will advance other cities, then the population in modern cities will decline which will provide lower traffic congestion. Moreover, if individuals start to use public transportation rather than private automobiles, then the quality of air will increase and it will lower traffic jams. Also, when people rely more on bicycles, they will feel healthier than in the past and be confident in themselves.
To conclude, increasing population and using own vehicles will contribute to traffic congestions which will negatively affect on health. However, if the population will be lower and all individuals will use public transportation this problem will be solved.
