In a world dominated by technological advancements, it has become increasingly common for students to choose online education, particularly in urban areas. While this situation poses serious challenges associated with technological barriers and the risk of isolation, I believe that it does more good than harm in terms of reducing financial burden and promoting global learning.
The critics of studying online cite various reasons to support their stance. When individuals select online education, they may face some problems, such as not having good internet connection or the right kind of computer, which can make it hard to keep up their studies. This can ultimately leading to frustration and make it harder to learn effectively, thereby limiting their chances of success. Furthermore, spending time too much online can make it difficult to connect with other people. As a result, students may miss out important social skills they need to succeed in life and work.
Despite these criticisms, in my view, the potential benefits of online learning carry much greater weight. If students choose to study online, they may save a great deal of money on tuition fees and living expenses, thus making education more accessible for all the people from different backgrounds. This can ultimately help them achieve their educational goals, which can lead to a more educated and productive society. In addition, virtual learning allows students to communicate with the teachers and students all over the world, promoting global understanding and broader perspective.
In conclusion, even though, e-learning has some drawbacks when it comes to using advanced technology and being socially isolated, the benefits of distance education, such as affordability and global outreach out outweight the disadvantages.
