Throughout the last 100 years, more and more species have become at risk or wiped out completely. The causes of this are largely related to humain activity, therefore the solutions rely on us taking actions and changing our behaviour. This essay will look at the main reasons for the loss of wildlife and propose some possible ways of resolving them.
One big cause of animals extinction is the destruction of animals’ habitats by humains for commercial reasons. For example the deforestation of the Amazon rainforest to make way for agricultural land leaves many species without a home. Furthermore, ocean pollution is considered a major contributor to animal extinction, and human activities are the main driver behind this problem. For example, large amounts of harmful waste are thrown every year by industries into the oceans and seas.
A sloution could be for governments to pass laws. These laws could restrict the amount of forest that country could cut down in a year and punish companies that do not follow them. For example if campany were to chop dow a large amount of the rainforest, the government could fine them a large sum of money or send them to preson. In addition Authorities should implement regulations to control industrial waste and fine industries that do not comply with these laws. They can also support conservation projects that play a major role in protecting nature.
In conclusion, more and more wildlife is being threatened by human activity and it is up to humans to solve the problem. the destruction of animal habitats and the pollution of the oceans are the main factor in this problem. To solve it, we will need to place restrictions on harmful activities like deforestation and discharging chemicals into the ocean. It is my view that with global cooperation, many of this scpecies can be saved.
