We all know that the family is essential for children, especially parents who play the role model in their kid’s life. Some parents support their kids to focus on their studies while others motivate them to seek physical activities like football, swimming and ballet. In this essay, I will express my disagreement with this view for two reasons: education builds prestige, and it is a requirement for higher development.
Firstly, in our society, education is the initial thing that people ask any person when they meet. Our society has been built around the idea that having good education has a huge impact on a person’s success in life. Hence, achieving good scores in our studies is a requirement to add more prestige and to enhance our lifestyle among others. My uncle was encouraged by his family to study hard since he was child. Therefore, he graduated from Harvard university and now he has a respectable individual in the community.
Secondly, high academic achievement increases good job opportunities. Many companies hire fresh graduates with high scholastic records. Thus, they enhance your resume making it stand out among applicants. Moreover, whenever employers see that an applicant graduated from a prestigious university, it leads them to hire that person immediately. My brother is a perfect example. He graduated from MIT, and even before he started looking for a job, many high profile companies sent out their invitations to him to work in their companies.
To summarize, I agree that education plays a major role in our life and society because it increases a person’s prestige in the community as well as enhances our chances of finding good jobs.
