Band 7+: Parents should encourage their children to spend more time doing activities than studying. Agree&Disagree

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Over the last few years, it has become increasingly common for children to spend less time studying. It is clear that virtual games and outdoor activities are becoming intrinsic parts of children’s lives today. However, I cannot entirely support this viewpoint.

In this essay, I will attempt to discuss the related causes and possible consequences of this trend, and draw some conclusions based on my personal perspective.

As far as I am concerned, one of the main reasons for children spending less time on their studies is the prevalence of online games. Many believe that these games contribute to reduced study time. This perspective stems from the fact that children can easily spend at least 30 minutes playing online games. A good example of this is PUBG Mobile, which children often play anytime and anywhere because it is an ongoing game without a definitive ending.

I believe that parents should encourage their children to engage in physical activities after completing the homework assigned to them at school. In most cases, doing homework can be mentally exhausting, and participating in physical activities afterward can help refresh their minds. As a result, this approach can significantly enhance their chances of achieving high scores in school while also promoting better health.

In conclusion, while encouraging children to participate exclusively in physical activities may not be the best approach, it is essential to find a balance. I personally believe that the benefits of motivating children to engage in physical activities outweigh the aforementioned drawbacks, especially when it comes to maintaining their health and overall well-being.

One school of thought holds that parents should encourage their children to spend less time studying and devote more time to physical activities.
