Band 5+: People are surrounded by many kinds of advertising which can influence their life. Do the positive effects of this trend outweigh the negative effects?

So massive is the digitalisation impact in people’s habits that many individuals’ lives are influenced by trends. While life-affected advertising seems disadvantageous to some extent, . I would argue that advantages are more significant, and I will explain why.

On the one hand, there are major drawbacks that may arise if there are many types of advertising which influence individuals’ habits. Firstly, if more and more advertising were is consumed by society, . It would change individuals’ habits. For example, people who often consume advertising content tend to be more consumptive because many people tend to easily buy after watching advertising content. Moreover, the majority of advertising content just offers tertiary necessities. Therefore, many individuals would fail in financial management. Absolutely, it might be said that it is only detrimental to society.

On the other hand, we should consider various advantages of advertising content that society may gain. First, it might be said that advertising content causes a positive impact to enhances power buying so that economic growth occurs and more trade activity in the whole society causes many chances by individuals such as creating many working places. Secondly, it seems that advertising could provide people with choices. For example, it is easier and easier for people to find out about something new in the market. Ultimately, massive advertising content also creates a society who are more and more creative because advertising trends would encourage people to create something on-trend.

In summary, I believe that life-affected advertising can be more beneficial for growing the economy, creativity and convenience for the community. Thus, positive impacts outweigh the negative effects.
