Many working individuals are in view of being able to keep all of their earned money rather than having to give away a fraction back to the state. I believe this is right as taxing the working class makes it harder for people to make ends meet in the current economy as well as, discourages those on benefits from working at all. Taxing people without any pay raises will always cause an uproar due to the lack of balance between their salaries and finances. A simple solution to this would be to consider paying individuals well and not taxing them unjustly so that they may maintain a decent lifestyle.
A major portion of tax money comes from the working class and is utilized by the state to not only fund multiple projects but to also aid those on benefits. This is where controversy arises and people complain of their tax money being used for no good. A lot of people on benefits misuse the money being provided to them by spending it all on drugs or alcohol. The government ought to impose regulations and be more transparent regarding where the tax money goes and how it will benefit those paying it and everyone else.
