A group of people think that residents should keep all their earnings and should not have an obligation to pay taxes to the government. I completely disagree with the notion because taxes are useful for citizens and play an important role in the progress of a nation.
To begin with, it is the fact that taxes are useful for the development of a country. Taxes are allocated for various kinds of matters. The main purpose of taxes are to improve the infrastructure of buildings and introduce new projects, which are helpful and play key role in the development of a country. In addition, taxes are utilized for maintaining public transport system and healthcare centres. And last but not least, taxes are also used for maintaining and constructing new roads and highways. For instance, in Canada, students do not pay academic expenses because the government collects taxes from citizens and in return it provide good benefits.
And then, people should also notice that taxes that they have paid, will also be beneficial for themselves sooner or later. These taxes that the government collected from rich communities are also helpful for poor people. Furthermore, the government utilize these taxes for pensions so that retire individuals live independently.
In conclusion, these taxes are helpful in numerous departments such as educational institution, medical centres, pensions etc. I think that it is the best way to improve the structure of a country and help for needy people. Taxes are beneficial for both country and citizens.
