A growing number of individuals worldwide are delaying marriage and having fewer children in recent decades. This is because they have various responsibilities, and they also predict that the world’s economy will be destroyed in the future. In this essay, I will describe the reasons why this situations are happening, and I will also compare and contrast between positive and negative consequences on these circumstances.
To begin with, this issues are happening owing to the fact that the cost of products nowadays around the world are constantly increasing, consequently these problems cause people to have a hard-working on their occupations. For instance, there are various individuals nowadays who have to work more than two careers, for they have the value of money to take care of their family members. While people in the past only worked one job, and they had the ability to live comfortably and easily attend to others.
Additionally, these problems affected an increasing of the older population around the world due to the fact that if individuals decide to have a smaller family, they will lack their caretakers when they become golden-age. For example, there are a growing number of elderly Japanese who are selected to not retire as they are without their relatives to support them, consequently they need to work until they are deceased. Not only for them which have to work hard, but they also have feelings of loneliness as they age and lack household’s supporting
On the other hand, there are some beneficials for people who have smaller family, particularly on their mental health. This is because various situations fruencly force them to have more family members, consequently they would get stressed as they have other vital occupations, rather than have more children. To give an example, in Thaialnd, there are a large number of parents who lack money to take care of their children, resulting in poor mental health as they have to work all the time to find more earning. Therefore, if citizens do not force to have more minors, they will not think about more responsibilities to more attend to other household memebers.
In conclusion, there are the primary reasons which compare and contrast between adverse and helpful consequences on these issues. However, I believe that the disadvantages are outweigh the advantages because these issues are negatively impacted humans. It not only affected older people, but it also caused to a decrease of population worldwide in the future.
