In big cities, people are dealing with health issues caused by elevated degrees of air pollution. Even though this situation seems to stem from several factors such as the extensive use of vehicles and industrial activities. there are, in my opinion, feasible solutions including promoting and investing in sustainable transportation alternatives to tackle this issue.
There are two main factors why people from large cities encounter various health issues resulting from the heightened degree of air pollution. Cities contain a massive amount of cars and factories. Specifically, most vehicles, especially those powered by traditional engines, release pollutants such as carbon dioxide which is the same for factories and has a massive impact on not only the environment but also on the well-being of citizens. For example, studies suggest that exposure to carbon dioxide which generally comes from transport and industrial facilities is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, including heart attacks.
There are still ways to take over the position of this phenomenon and solve this issue. To be clear, the non-stop progress of the technology industry has already unfolded the possibility of buying economically harmless automobiles that are powered by electricity. Plus, people can also should be motivated to ride a bike. The government should give its data about the benefits of this type of vehicle to encourage citizens to prefer this method. As an example, Tokyo’s efficient and extensive public transport system reduces traffic congestion, lowers emissions, and promotes sustainable urban mobility.
In conclusion, health problems because of a high level of air pollution in dense cities can be attributed to using typical cars, the involving altering the type of transportation, in my perspective, plays an integral role in solving this issue.
