Many people nowdays decide to become an enterpreneur instead of working for big companies or even to become a civil servant for flexibility reason. This decision eventhough seems promising, might cause some problems.
Firstly, by running small enterprise, they must able to sell their product, either they are goods or services. To make this relatable, lets take it in a more detailed context : owning a bike shop. The first problem they might encounter is to promote their products. Bike products are consisted from so many different items such as the frames where all the components are attached, tires and the drivetrain. Unable to sell them because of lack of understanding and exposeure will leads to the next problem : the uncertainity of income. Unlike working for big institution, running a business is prone to the uncertainity of income which might be a problem for most people. This because their income is dictated by how well they can sell bikes and generate profit from it.
Therefore, in order to solve these problems, bike shop owners should do some means to increase their visibility. For example, they can be an influencer in the industry by organizing group rides or sponsoring events. Furthermore, the bike shop owners also requires to understand their products and their costumers, what tire the costumer will need for certain terain they are planning to ride, what geometry suits their body shape, so that they can gain trust from costumers. By doing so, business owners can bost their sales and solve both problem mentioned before.
All in all, becoming self-employed requires many technical stuff and also creativity to sustain their business. In other words, before deciding to become an enterpreneur, they are required to deeply understand the industry and strategies to overcome problems that they might encounter later.
